Engage3 has moved into a larger office space in Downtown Davis, marking a new period in the company’s continuing expansion. The office, located at 707 4th Street and taking over the entire second floor of the McCormick Building real estate space, is located 5 minutes from the nearby university. With a floor space of 10,433 square-feet, the new location is larger than the two previous office spaces combined and gives the company room to grow. Sacramento Business Journal reported on the expansion in an article titled, “Engage3 moves into new Davis office to make way for further growth.”
The new space, which consolidates the company’s former two offices, allows for employee growth and expansion, said Edris Bemanian, chief operating officer.
“This holds everyone we have in Davis in one space. It was important for us to bring everyone together,” he said.
Company founder and CEO Ken Ouimet has said he wants the company to grow in downtown Davis, where it has lots of connections with students from the University of California Davis. Last January, the company expanded from a small Davis office into a 4,000-square-foot building in downtown. It soon added a second 1,700-square-foot office annex.

As Engage3’s operations grow increasingly complex to meet the needs of the retail industry, the new space will allow the company to hire new employees and fully use its ties to the nearby university. Starting earlier this year, a team of students from the UC Davis MSBA program began working with Engage3’s data scientists to complete their year-long practicum project. Dr. Sahar Pirmoradian led the team in modeling real-world retail data, and Engage3 has since hired one of the MSBA graduates as a full-time Data Analyst.
Along with being named to Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest-growing companies for the third time and being recognized by industry analyst IDC for innovating with a new retail industry metric of Price Image, the office move is another milestone in a year of rapid growth for Engage3.
